It seems that there are a number of us who want more room behind the wheel. This has me wondering if I could swap the positions of the spring ride seat and bench seat in my deuce? That would create the extra room with out having to purchase a box seat.

Taking out all of the interior was not hard. I suggest goggles, a dust mask and bunny suit. Mine had quite a bit of rust and loose insulation. Since a lot of this work is overhead you will end up with a bunch in your face. There are a lot of small screws and a couple of the rusted ones...

Jason, I have a couple of bags of gov issue zip ties that are black. NSN 5975-00-899-4606. seems to be about 50 in a bag. Let me know if you want them and I will drop in the mail. Keeping a couple of bags for my shop van but can spare one or two.

I would think that the springs for the 200 will work better for a bobbed deuce then springs from a 105. With the heavier rating for the trailer they should provide more support.

I see that yours came with the a/c unit attached. Take a good look at the roof and along the inside bottom of the box to see if you have any leaks/rust issues. Time to start painting the rocks so your motor pool looks correct. I need somewhere to park more stuff.......

Rockfeild, I have a couple of spare tires and some of the other equipment you will want to have for your pick up. I can loan them to you for the trip. My deuce is in for work right now and will see very little road use for the next month or so.
