Sand, Mud and other off-road issues....

If you going to be on sand, wider super singles would help. There is a good reason the Services have swtiched from the duals. They are fighting in a desert environment afterall.

    My deuce, Blue...GOT PAINTED!!!

Where are the super singles? I have been patiently waiting to see those 15.5s on your 5 ton rims~! They will take it to the 'next level', literally and figuratively.

    Bruce's HEMTT

By the way, the pic doesn't show the candy 900 series wrecker he just sold or his "small" toys.

    Pics of Super Singles

RDM- You can go either way. Weld it up and use the split ring (looks like stock rim, only 10" wide), or get new centers and leave as two halves (2 piece bolt together design with or without beadlock insert). My radials are tubeless and are on the 2 piece double beadlock rims. One half shown in...

    Pics of Super Singles

WWW- You have several options to get the look you want. 1. Take two stock deuce rims, cut in half and reweld to form a 10" wide rim. M35 products has done this. 2. Get 5 ton beadlock rims and machine a custom center with the duece lug pattern and bolt in. Spicergear is working on this...

    48's too small need 53's?

Looks good to me. I would stick with the 1400s if you already have them and they are mounted. You can always upgrade later. One good thing is that the surplus market for 1600s is and will be much better (cheaper).

    Got my first deuce today....

Stretch- Now that is what I call impulse shopping! You got a mean looking deuce. I always like them with winches and hard tops. I'm glad I didn't go with you. I would have been drooling over the two M911 in the background of your first pic. Do you have any idea on what Roger has in those...

    48's too small need 53's?

BD- Where is the pic??? Did you go with dual 1400s as planned? I have seen pics of 5 tons running 53s, both XLs and XZLs. I know it is possible, but it has to be close! You probably don't want to get new tread as the the tire sizes could fluctuate almost 2" depending on tread.

    The new shop vehicle.....

Lance- Don't you know you should be looking where you fire??? By the way, I really like your new auto sig. Sweet fleet.

    Regular 900x20 Wheels

Thanks El- I see it now. Loose Deuce, I know you have been around, but I figured maybe you changed your sig recently and left off the city, state. It does not show up on my screen (My colors are set to OD Green, isn't everybodys????). I have a couple 900x20s with used tires you can have...
