    Tank style block heater ?

I have been thinking about plumbing my block heater from bottom rad.hose to a threaded cyl.head flange #1402-8949,think it would work better than running thru heater core.Or plumbing up front near thermostat, would keep all heat in block.Does anyone have thread size on the threaded block off...

    Passenger side alternator shorted.

This is why I disconnect batteries even if I change light bulbs,I see new fusable links in your future. It seems like even a simple task turns into a chore with the cucvs, until you own it for a few years and learn, learn and learn.

Wise choice going with yellows over reds, and buying local where you can return if batts. are bad. RuffStuff makes a nice battery box for them.I hope to replace my reds with yellow tops this week.

Thanks DH,he was probably assuming I still had auto GPs,which would be a problem with using ether for stuborn starts.

Thanks Rick, I wish I lived closer also, its rough with no garage.Malibu lowered to much for winter.Would be kinda fun to throw snow tires on a 425hp Malibu tho.I remember a few years ago being able to get it out of storage in winter and driving it.
