    chasing air bubble from 6.2

    I would top off coolant,drive it a little,if it doesn't burp out on its own you will likely have to loosen sending unit to bleed air out.Dont do if its hot.

    When I replaced my mufflers I went with Moroso Spiral flows in 3".Not very loud,everyone thinks theres a big block in it. Also has factory style 3" tailpipes.When I let it sit idleing its hilarious watching peoples double takes when they get to front of truck and realize its a diesel.

    Im going crazy waiting for the 86 1009 to get delivered,so much nicer than my 85.Someone at the fire dept. liked this truck.They put a chrome bumper with original brush bar,chrome mirrors,chrome wheels,all windows in back tinted,Not a fan of chrome on a 1009 but its a really nice looking...

    I pretty much grew up in my perfectionists Dads body shop,cant do rattle cans.Ill drive it red for a while.Someday it will be matte white,light grey matte,and dark grey matte with maybe a little black shawdowing.I really like the snow camo theme.

    Bought a younger brother for my 85 1009.An 86 1009 with 39k miles,its also ex-fire dept. red with reflective white stripe. Whats funny is I don't like red cars but all my cars are red.

    Certainly sounds like a fuel delivery issue.When I added a spin on fuel filter I also installed a fuel pressure gauge on inlet and outlet side of filter.Helps to pinpoint problems.If inlet pressure drops lift pump going bad or primary filter plugging or out of fuel.If outlet reading lower than...

    K&N# E-1690 Fit?

    My 1690 fit just like stock,seemed to help bottom end torque,not sure though because I also made other mods at same time.I would not smash a nearly $60 air-filter.

    So it adjusts the rpms automatically,depending on demand? The 1031 Im looking at has a lot of extra wires on drivers side of truck.
