    M880 radiator

Yes The more cores there are the better it works. All mine are stock and work fine, even towing 8k in the summer.

    GL Gripes....

Ebay is the oddball with how the auction ends at an exact time. All other auctions end when the auctioneer is no longer receiving bids. The reason for waiting till near the end of the auction to place your bid is to limit the amount of time that people have to consider if they are willing to pay...

    Selfridge deuces-what did you get?

I've had historic & Authetic plates on something for the last 15 years. I have never been hassled. Here is what you have to comply with [/B] "events such as...". is a wide open statement, lots of wiggle room. It used to also say public interest, etc. I have one of those in my car :mrgreen...

GAS M45 Saved From The Scrapper

Correct! Frames flex, if they weren't heat treated they would just bend. Although many on here think they know more than the engineers and think it is perfectly ok to weld on a truck frame. I have never seen a welded frame that didn't crack at the edge of the weld.

I got the M814 home. Now what?

I know where a tan cargo cover is for it! It is HEAVY though so it would need to go via frieght from Pineview Surplus in Frederick, MI. (Not mine) Those 20 ft beds are cool!!!!!! (so is that monster generator too!) Fine threads take alot longer for the nuts to vibrate off than course threads.

Largest nut size on a Deuce?

Close! I had always though it was the nut behind the steering wheel. The big tool I'm glad I bought was the 1" impact driver with the Budd socket. Yea sure it's freakin heavy, but for the lug nuts, resistance is futile.

    Engine swap fun

I suspect the engine failure is likely due to FD's not having time to let the multi warm up before taking off.

    Spring Seat Swap

There is a part needed for the bench seat when replacing the box seat with a spring seat. Anyone know the part # or where one could be purchased?

New Progress on Wisconsin Ex-Military Vehciles

There is a sticker on my M880 that lists GVWR and has a statement on it that this vehicle conforms to Fed regs at time of manufacture. I don't know if that is the "NHTSA" sticker. I'm wondering how WisDot registers any pre 1981 vehicle at all, if they need a 17 digit vin
