No problem. If they don't do it try kryptonite kustums. They build rock crawlers with the 2.5 ton rockwells. They may can help you out. Tell them Jake referred you.
Hello and welcome to the site. Good to see another member from LA here. Too bad your not closer. My m35a2 gets between 8 and 10 mpg. Depending on how hard I run her.
From your description I would start with your steer axle like gimpy said. I almost wonder if the bang you heard was your spider gears or your pinion hand grenading. Also with the wobble you describe I strongly suggest you check your front wheel bearings and tie rods. Actually, I would jack...
Bought a set for my deuce from ZiggyO. I love them. If you could go to an auto parts store and find some 7" off road lights you may can remove the LED lights from their buckets and install them in the off road housings.
The 3 lever switch has built in self-resetting circuit breakers. No fuse to change there. Get a muliti-meter and check for power to the lights. Also clean the grounds from the lights. Do you have old fashioned sealed beams? Or the led lights?
As far as I am aware there isn't a ground on the 3 lever switch that isn't part of the harness. Just screw the harness into the back and mount switch. Disregard/remove extra ground.
Here in LA we pay the highest insurance rates in the country. Lord don't ask me why. I'm not affiliated with any branch of the military so USAA is not an option for me. Though a bunch of my military buddies love them. State Farm has treated me well and I don't feel like listing all 12 of my...
No nothing homemade about my rig. Its a Mayhew 1000. Mayhew has been around since at least the 30's and used to be part of the Howard Hughes empire. I think it's so hard to insure because no one at the agent's office knows what it is. Its frustrating because like my deuce I don't need a CDL...
Well here in LA progressive most certainly DOES cover former mv's. On my card it says 1972 AM General M35A2. I sent them pictures of the truck and everything. Matter of fact I had the policy before I took delivery of the truck. Funny thing is there was a state farm card in the glove box of...
I have state farm for all of my vehicles except for my heavy trucks. State farm basically told me they don't mess with anything bigger than a 1 ton anymore. Fair enough, so I shopped around a bit and ended up with a commercial policy from Progressive for around $600 a year. This is strictly...
Just so I know for sure A3 wheels will work for 395's correct? By this I mean do they have the correct backspace for this large of a tire? Or would I be better off recentering another type of wheel?
