    Remote Oil Filters...Done.

That's good news on the shorter time for oil pressure. Glad to see everyone plugging away at improving the oil system. I would play with mine, but a little cold out.... Dennis

    M35/M275A2 For sale, Ohio

Not mine.. Went and looked at, could get pics if someone is interested. M275A2 that someone removed the 5th hitch and installed a bed. Looks like 383 green, decent paint, heater, air transfer case, soft top, and winch. Didn't see if there was a turbo or not. Still has the spare tire...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Okay, I understand what you are saying about the cooler loop then. Would have to be some kind of siphoning for the oil to drain to the bearings and empty the filters. Think there is any way pressure check the pump for backflow? Maybe pull the filter housing off, pressurize the line to the...

    Check valve for oil filters?

The pics you posted on the previous page cranetruck, was the oil exit/entrance labeled for the block or filter? Or when you say exit, is it exit from the filter housing, or exit from the block? Dennis

    Check valve for oil filters?

I just had a great big DUH! moment. Flordianson is was told correctly that no check valve is needed. A postive displacement, gear type pump would be self-checking. A gear motor is the same as a gear pump, for the oil to drain into the pan, the pump would have to spin backwards. The reason...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Many thanks to all the people checking into the oiling/filtering system. I haven't been replying much, some of the guys here are much better at researching the different filters and such. I like your possible location of a check valve, cranetruck. Looks like a messy job to pull the filter...

    PTO's

Just a small piece of channel, bent and welded. It pivots on the same bolt as the winch linkage. Dennis
