    PTO's

Not much space to work with. There is a crossmember to the rear of the pto. Wasn't in the way for my install, I had a slight downhill angle on the pto driveshaft. I have no idea if you can piggy back transmission PTO's. Here is a pic of the rear output install on my deuce. Dennis

Lots of Military Vehicles on GSA site in MO - ends Jan 15th

Maybe members could post in the wanted section of the classifieds what they are looking for, and if you see an auction, just PM the member. That way everyone knows if someone is looking for a deuce or towbar, and can help out without putting it in a public forum. Dennis

    Lowboy trailer for Deuce question

I made a converter for the deuce to drop it to 12v lights, mainly because I have about 4 trailers to tow. If you are just using that trailer, LED's lights would be the way to go, they work on multiple voltages, I think 10-30 volts. I would suggest a 5 ton if that is an option. Just by what I...

Enough room for my axle's to slide out?

I got mine at napa, I think it was around 20 bucks, could be wrong. I would think most parts stores would have it.

Enough room for my axle's to slide out?

I paid too much and used kits from napa, they are much cheaper at saturn surplus. #45 was the part number at napa. Bought a brake hone and rebuilt two of them, went really well. Just use plenty of brake fluid when honing. I didn't see any reason to take the drum and hub apart. Only thing...

    Winch Shear Pins

My pins came from saturn surplus, they have the cotter pin holes. Just remembered I did try to winch a big chunk of concrete out of the ground once. Squatted the truck pretty good, and broke the small chain I was using. Pin was okay. Dennis
