m35 wiper motor - repari or replace?

While it is apart, you can try to blow air in the holes, and get it to shift the vavle inside. Cleaned mine before, and it works now. Still one side runs better than the other. Dennis

    2006 Rally Pic's

RE: genset Well, the drag was on a dirt 1/4 mile track, no timer or lights. Just my truck and hookin1's truck. Winner turned out to be whoever shifted gears better, I won one, he won two. Steelsoldiers, Chris S., and I all drove my truck once. I don't know if I ever laughed so hard at a...

    RPM???

Re: Rpm??? I heard rumors that some later deuce's were set at 2800 for max loaded rpm. Mine will run to 2800 with a load, I personally keep it about 2500 or so. Might be since my pump it turned up. Dennis

Crazy idea for filtering used oil.

I've heard of 55 gallon drums full of sawdust, and or corn cobs also. Found the avg speed of a washer is 1200 rpm. Figure drum size is around 24 in. Don't have a math book handy to figure out what kind of centrifugal force that is, but I know the greater the dia, the more force. Still don't...

    Working the deuce.

The muffler is from napa, been a couple of threads about it. Love living out here, but lot more work than in the city! The tree I tried to pull out and I have become friends. It is going to be there for a while. Mostly concrete and rock in the truck, with a covering of dirt. Dennis

Crazy idea for filtering used oil.

Come on guys, what's with all the negative stuff? Figured this group of guys would appreciate the fun of trying something different. Biggest problem I see is will it spin fast enough. If not, can't spin the washer too fast, might cause a nice bang. Should'nt take any horsepower to spin...

    Working the deuce.

Finally a good reason for my dump bed. Got an old barn that was tore down before I bought my house. Removing the foundation so I can plant grass, and use the old barn ramp to load stuff in the deuce. Only made two trips so far, not sure how much wieght I have on the truck. The dump works...

Crazy idea for filtering used oil.

Friend and I were talking when the subject came up of filtering oil. Told him I would like to use a centrifuge, but they are expensive. Joking, he said "what about a washing machine?". I am thinking na, won't work, and then I start thinking why not? So if I would seal the top of a...

Which Gauge do I need more? boost or pyro

I tried to find the seller on ebay I got mine from, no luck. It is a skysport/westach gauge, was about 50 bucks, and sender was 30. Gauge is for an airplane and works just fine for me. I seem to remember only paying about 60 bucks total, so one of my figures is off. Search egt and pyrometer...

    How wide?

With my 46 jeep in the bed, I have about 2 feet clearance, if I put the jeep all the way to one side. This is in my M35. I measured out my jeep before, and figured it would actually fit in a regular pickup bed, if you drove over the wheel wells, and had the tailgate down. Looking on google...

    Panhard bar

With how far the axles move when off-road, not sure limiting the side to side movement would be good for the springs. If you watch the video "stretch's deuce in creekbed"(in video section), you can see that I tend to move the axles around. When traveling at higher speed, most roads are smooth...

Replaced Rear Pinion Seal - Handy Hint!

Glad for the info, I know at least 3 of mine are leaking. Something about fresh oil and old seals don't get along. Dennis

    Sealing windows

Mine is steady at speed, no bounce or shimmy. Hit a good bump and the back end will bounce around. I have a little wheel hop till the tires warm up, takes about 2 miles at speed. I run at 55, have had it about 62 and it was good. Dennis

    2006 Rally Pic's

Well someone wanted to find a mudhole, and that's the mudhole I found. Figured with 4 deuce's and a five ton, we could get the truck back out.
