Not sure if this helps,when I did my spin on and elect.pump I used wix#24770 head and airtex E8153 pump,I did find all the fittings at a local Fastenal store.I also added fuel psi gauges on input and outlet side of filter.

From what I have read the only difference in IPs is hmmvs have 24v solenoid and cucvs are 12v,and intakes are either single plane or dual planes.I have read dual planes for NA motors and single planes on turbos. Just what I have read.

Found proper fittings today,will be able to keep 5/8s bypass hose size,wonder why Humvee has 3/4 bypass hose?
