Get ready for a January recovery after the EUC wait
I got two, almost screwed up and got 3, thought I got outbid on one and was looking over what was left. aua
Did a GL preview today, the GL trucks were mixed in with FMS hold trucks.
So I am methodically going from truck to truck with my note book.
and I walk up to my truck..........wait a minute my trucks at home!
yea it was hot & humid and I had sweat in my eyes. after the double take I realized...
I have two trucks two sets of troop seats
yet just 1 set of mounting brackets.
Granted I have M880's, while there are differences
I think the front 4 CUCV brackets could work on the M880
( I need 6 though)
This is becoming a difficult item to find for the ol Dodges
lol
there are 2 ambulances in that pic, the one in the foreground now lives in Georgia.

I haven't seen the steel ones in a while ( pc failure several months ago, lost all links)
Over in the CUCV forums someone just bought some aluminum ones to do this to a m1008.
They should be the same.
When I get around to doing this, I will have some machined up out of steel, the design is...
No go on the Dash pad or Pintle. might have a mirror, have to scrounge around.
Overflow bottle or tank?
I have some of these but will need to check their condition.
I have 2 trucks, two sets of troop seats but only one set of the clampsaua
Need the six brackets that bolt through the bed sides & hold the troop seats on.
for an M880 but I'll guess the CUCV ones would work.

Chock Blocks are mandatory!
as the show area is on a hill overlooking the area, we can not allow vehicles without the wheels chocked. This is a simple item that can prevent a potential tragedy.
It is also recommended that you have a fire extinguisher in your vehicle...
I had one where the fine rust particles got lodged in the idle circuit somewhere, ( I suspect anyway)
I rebuilt that carb 3 times, still had the idle stumble/surge problem.
Put a new carb on and it was the end of that issue.
I still haven't committed to going, Really don't need any more Deuces
I'm also thinking they will go above my budget as it is not far from OH, PA, IN
but then again I didn't really need the 1st one either.......................:jumpin:
I'll have to schedule a vacation day in the morning.

Server has likely been hacked
the people veiwing lists don't ad up
it was at 96 members & 111 Guests for 207 total
yet the actual shown for each forum added up to only 105 :cookoo:
One day I will do the same for my M880, but I do not trust the aluminum spacers, I will get steel ones.
Dually hubs would make the fronts stick out to far IMO.
