I would throw a coolant temp. gauge on it,upgrade if you have to.Generally with stock setup they run pretty cool.What don't you like about current setup? You can always rewire.

You should be fine,but I would look for one.To be honest with you I didn't know there was a support bracket for starter for about 20k miles. Evil DR PorkChop has NOS stock heat shields listed in classifieds.
For those that have turboed their 1009,I also have a ? Would it be worth it to run the short injectors and hard lines? Instead of stacking up exhaust man.gaskets.
So far after 5k miles I like the airtex E8153,I used fram G3 prefilter ,power to fuseblock ,switched 12V.ground to front batt. neg. side,also added 10A inline fuse on pwr. side.For 31.79 per pump at Rock auto well worth it.
If yours is like mine it took 3 diff. sizes,just get 3 feet of each so you don't have to run to store twice,also make sure to change the plastic T also.It seems like my 1009 went from 3/8 to 5/16 to 1/4. I used a stub of 3/8 off vac. pump,then a 3/8 to 5/16 coupler,5/16 to vac port on IP then...
