Great product, made big diff.in trans temp in my steet/strip gasser car. Im going to order that same pan for my 1009.But order Der-14202,it has drain plug and hole for trans. temp probe. Also gonna add a B&M remote trans filt kit.# 80277,cheap insurance.
Getting ready to replace terminals and cables also, going with 1/0 gauge wire and terminals from KnuKonceptz.com ,the terminals are really cool and cable super flexable. multi ports on terminals..
My 1009 did same thing recently, was the fuse in fuse box,not blown but connecters wore out, gently squeezed tangs a little and new 30A fuse, all good.I also have done the headlight upgrade harness from LMC.Takes a big load off that fuse.
Its big, ugly, loud and proud.will go thru anything and still get 20 plus mpgs. That and I love seeing peoples faces when highway cruising at 70 plus mph.
moroso spiral flow 94051 is what I used when I added 3" tailpipes to my 1009.Sounds good, runs better, wish I had gone 3.5" though. Mine is still 2.25" back to axle then Up to 3". Still duals. Was just looking at my old youtube vids. and there are still vids on there with audio of the exhaust...
Thanks for the input guys.Long term plans are turbo motor, upgrade axles to 30 spline, detroit locker in rear, posi in front and either 342 or 373 gears, might just stick with the 208.
Man ,sorry for your bad experience with your 1009.If you part it out you may recoup more $.As it sits the trailer is pretty much worth more than the truck, realistically. But you have a lot of sellable parts on truck.
