Ambu is an automatic, while it's a t case PTO, nothing happens without the transmission turning. Yes wrecker PTO runs with T case in neutral, I was thinking moving the truck while dumping (like a real dump truck). I'll see if I can get a pic with my POS camera.

Having driven a M886 for about 5 yrs with the cross. I'd say its the chrome. Drive it in a veterans day parade or Memorial Day parade before you loose the cross.

WTF? vibration? The spring mounts on the front of the bed were engineered because the frame flexes between the front & rear axles during off camber situations off the highway. Now on a bobbed deuce the flex would be less due to the removal of the rear most axle and well over a ton of weight...

Sure it will offend purists, but they don't own your truck, you do. Besides M880 series truck purists are far & few between. pick below of one of mine, only mods are a civi receiver hitch, an inline fuel filter and humvee tires. It may be low on power but will push through bumper deep mud & snow :-D
