Man!, for a $100!
I would have rather spent the $100 for that part than the hours fighting in the mud getting one off a parts truck.
PS
I have NOS tailpipes for $20 + shipping.
IDLE MIXTURES @ 5.5 TURNS!
Carb likely has blockages in it.
clear in line fuel filters rarely fill up for some reason
Carter BBD, rebuild kits show up on ebay often.
Any decent parts guy can get the rebuild kit.
Crank pully moving in and out!!!!!!!!!! problem there.
77 Dodge factory service...
One of mine had a vibration / shudder that would oscilate.
I found bolts loose on the drive shaft between trans & tc.
have not driven it since, but I think that is the cause. (but maybe just the result of the vibration?????????)
Interesting......
the ones on my at least 2 of my trucks have the tabs equally spaced around the whole perimiter.
They do not look like the ones in th OD iron link or on Saturn Surplus.
Hmmm........
3 times so far on GL and the EUC's all came back from BC in less than a week.
Well the first one went to BC late on Dec 24th, and was approved Monday Jan 5th.
the last two were just a few days.
Yup!
crawled under the parts M882, it still has one.
it still moves on it's own, but without brakes or steering, it really doesn't need the drive shaft.
$60 & I could pull it out and bring it to the trail ride.
I'll assume it's the rear that is bent, as the front one is harder to get with the forks.
I believe I have a rear drive shaft I could part with (as long as I have more than one spare).
Ok here's another cable to identify. Well I know what it is, just not it's typical application.
NSN: 6150-00-201-9583
CABLE ASSEMBLY,POWER,ELECTRICAL
Markings on it:
10/5 SO NEOPRENE CABLE (cord)
30A 120/208 3Ø (plug)
50 foot long
Found inside of sealed slave cable box
The 77 manual says 30w oil
the 78 manual says 10w-30 oil (probably best for the winter)
it should have the NP203 full time t-case in it
do not use gear lube or trans fluid.
