I thought the 1008 had the Detroit locker in the rear as well.
Here in Michigan those trucks fetch near $1500 cannibalized at auction.
The front axle alone can bring $1000.00
If he bid $2800 for it, he also paid $280 buyers premium and 6% sales tax on top of that and another $60 for paperwork...
welding on a truck frame is a no no.
If it was a good idea why didn't the manufacturer do it? it would have been easier than rivets.
I would not trust the structural integrity of the trailer frame under a 10k truck.
I received your PM on the GB door, very slim chance that I have a good one, but I have one more truck to check. Any 75 to 79 or so can work, todays paints can make any color look right! <be careful of a shady ebayer out of Whitehall PA>
I do have 1 NOS seat bottom, beautiful! but I won't part...
Recently whille being home on leave after returning from Iraq a soldier from down the road here was telling me that at Ft Riley, they had a "Dodge just like yours" that they used to get the mail with. I didn't question or argue, I just figured it was a newer Dodge pickup that wasn't an M series...
Yea, no one ever see's the auction ads on every flippin' page of this web site,
It takes an obscure post in one of the forums for anyone ever to find it ...............
I have read somewhere that the 928A2's were USMC only & had lockers.
I'm a bit skeptical on that, & thinking that all branches had them & the USMC versions had the lockers.

Speaking of guys with deeper pockets than I.................
These trucks make me
Problem is, someone will have deeper pockets than I.
Dear Santa,
I just want a toy truck, will need to buy it b-4 Christmas............
Why on earth would words that the FCC allows on daytime television be on a message board censor list? let alone a freakin name!
Sheesh people :roll::roll::roll::roll::roll::roll:
I haven't had any issues yet. The township did recently enact a blight law restricting the storage of unlicensed vehicles outside.
Michigan ORV license is $16.25 ;-)
I do keep most of the vehicles behind the house, rarely ever have more than 3 or 4 in the driveway :-D
Byrdo,
Greatlakes MVPA...
The info is for the membership directory.
This membership directory is available at a price ( too much $$$ for me)
The MVPA and the company publishing the directory have asked for the info so that it can be shared with our fellow MVPA members primarily as a networking tool for us MV Freaks.
What ever was entered in the price field when the ad was first submitted, is what appears when the ad recycles itself. A couple of times that I have submitted an ad, I know I had the price in the box (correctly) and it vanished after I clicked the button. Now I had suspected that my PC running...
SSSHHH!!
We've been trying to keep the classifieds a secret, and people keep givin' out clues as to how people can find them............Sheesh! nobody can keep a secret anymore
The M880 series trucks were based on the 1976 & 1977 Dodge W200
The M890 series trucks were based on the 1976 & 1977 Dodge D200
These Air Force W400 Ambulances were indeed different from the M893 / M886.
They started life at the same Dodge assembly line and Finshed at the same "Mark Body Co"...
Taking the cover off would be best, but you knew that.
This spring there were 140+ trucks in Grayling, they were there from the winter before.
I got two soft top trucks & 2 with cargo covers.
They appear to have held up to two northern Michigan winters, the cab bows on one were bent down abit...
