these threads are getting really long, maybe we should start a general A3 discussion every month. On a side note, i was wondering what the plug on the passenger side is? radio? havent followed the wires to figure it out yet.
i think brass or SS would be better for freezing and hold up better to impacts, copper will split easy when frozen and dent easy with hit. i don't have a description of valve because i don't see a pic of it, or im blind.
My A3 is with state farm, for $167 per six month rate, noncommercial. I wouldn't insure a go-cart with USAA, they suck, I have one more truck to transfer from them and I will never use them again.
well my big problem is when i searched i misspelled it solarizer and not solargizer. does this device keep batts charged in winter? im wondering this because my alternator took a dump from over working low batteries.
Replacing the alternator today, PITA, i just noticed that my M35A3 has a solarizer (lame move on my part) and don't know if its working, how do you test them?
i flat tow every now and again, good on pavement, but have someone steer on dirt. I also have the transfer case in neutral. Speaking of towing, this weekend ill pull the bobbed deuce with the M35A3.
im sure with all the A3's being liquidated there are going to be a lot of people swapping out the slow dog tranny with something else, would love to get something faster for cheap.
What about a gear splitter like a few A3 owners have already done, i would like to put one in mine but getting one apparently isn't as easy as i thought.
