also you need to jump the glow plugs, you can touch a ground wire to the light blue wire on the small terminal on the glow plug relay, you will need to hold this for the normal glow cycle.
yea, run 12v to the pink wire on the top of the injector pump (that will energize the fuel shutoff)
if you go under the dash near the diagnostic port, there will be a silver relay. that is the starter relay. if you use two pieces of heavy gauge wire to jump the red wire to the purple wire...
you can put a set of 4.10:1 gears and still have all of your pulling power, you'll just lose some of the acceleration from stops. I have the ~ of 3.73:1 gears with my truck and noticed no troubles at all pulling a 3k trailer through the mountains on the way back from aberdeen.
you will not notice any difference at all between the alternators, the higher amp alt. would only create slightly more drag when it was putting out close to its max amps.

no matter what brand lift kit you go with, If you get a 4" then get a 3" drop pitman arm for the steering. If you get a 6" lift then you need to get a drop pitman arm as well as a raised drag link.. DO NOT GET THE LIFT BLOCK FOR THE STEEING ARM!!!!!!!!!
