And i am almost certain that there is no lockup convertor for a th400.
use dry silicone spray, works great and is mostly propane (much easier on the engine than ether) Also its completely safe for diesels with working glow plugs.
IIRC the stock backspacing on the m1008 rims is 4" anything between 3.5 and 5 inches would work. I have mine on the truck not recentered and just run a 2" spacer, so my backspacing is 5" and I have no rubbing at all. I would want to keep as much backspacing as i could just to keep the tires in...

For being almost perfect, the truck doesnt have a rear window, I'd be very concerned with the brakes with that kind of mileage (It must have sat for years)
I wouldn't touch that truck for anything more than $3500 including the trailer.
