if you do any towing getting the 3/4ton rear springs will help with the butt sag. are you looking at lift springs or just stock height ones again?
If you want a little bit of lift, the rough country 2" springs would allow you a little more fender clearance and still give a great ride.
bypass filters are the best thing you can do for your engine to protect from soot and particulates. BUT YOU NEED TO USE A FILTER MEDIA, NOT something designed to wipe up POO!!!!
I will be adding either a FS2500 or an Amsoil bypass filter on my truck very soon and will post my oil test results.

If you still think its a good idea, then by all means try it.
(I have a spare engine that i'd sell ya)
well what you want to do is to first get the colors done, then you go back with a finer spray and blend them in. you go from the darker color to the lighter.

all that takes is a simple fiber washer when putting the alternator together, a alternator shop charges the same for either rebuild so there is no extra cost there.
The only real downside is the 24v starter, while it costs about the same to have rebuilt (mine cost $125 for a full rebuild last...

if you are intent on fixing the card, usually it is one chip that is the culprit. I have a few of them. I'll have to dig them out and post the #.
you can set the truck up to have two seperate 12v circuits, i think the rosco instructions even show how as fire depts would want that for there high draw pumps and such.
RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: M1008 Glow Plug
if its the card, just hook up a manual switch and operate the plugs by hand, you can leave the card hooked up so your wait light will still function.
