I will need some technical adivce on setting up a 3kw MEP016D and running power from it.
I have a PDISE but it's buried right now and not sure what size it is. I also have a BIG HONKIN' cable that may or may not be for it. I want to learn how to run the power safely from gen to shelter and...
Excellent and it's always great when someone helps out the scouts.
Now what's up with the olefart trying to fall in the water. Sure is terrible when we realise that what was fun when we were teens and 20's now ain't so fun once you get a few steps into it. LOL
Still looking for a deuce front wiring harness.
Also, I need 2 each towing pintles for a 1009 and a good take off black plastic outter cover for the instrument cluster that still has the voltmeter in it preferred.
Nope, I have real CARC coming to the show for me. Enough to do my duece, trailers, CUCV's, and whatever else. So I'm gonna have a lot of paint soon but probably not a drop to share. Sorry.
I will have sleeping bags and the tire inflators should be in my stuff already also.
Will also have a bunch of fiberglass side racks for deuce, 5 ton, and 105/101. Bows for deuce/5t, 101, and 105.
Sounds good. I am also awaiting for the date to get closer to see what the weather is going to be like. Depending on the situation, we could have the big maintenance tent to work on vehicles but I would also have a requirement for setting up a frame tent. We'll see what happens.
BTW who...
Uh, not me. I've heard how weird you guys are. Me and my dog will sleep elsewhere but you can sleep in the tent---volunteer number 3 bringing volunteer number 6 with you.
I prefer to avoid the term "erect" in this discussion.
The tent will be ready for set up on Tuesday or Wednesday. I plan...
The party tent is still within my possession. But of course we will be setting it up at the GA Rally. Remember, the set up is easy. I only need 12 folks for 40 minutes or 3 people for 2 hours and then an additional 3 for 1 hr.
It is rhetorical. I know but the question is if they know that I know that they know that I know that they know......
Why would you ask volunteer number 4? But then again, I already know why you ask but I want to know if you know that I know that you know that I know that you know that I...
They are good systems but for me I talk to myself too much. Real problem is, now I'm answering.
BTW--there is an internal switch in the MT1029 mount that has to be set correctly iot use the VIC-1 and radio. If you still have issues transmitting, there was a thread on here about 2 years ago...
I would concur that the best truck I ever had was a non-CTIS 923A1. I ran the legs off of her and then some.
The only downside I ever had with the 5 ton was the bed height and having to heft stuff up onto it. Nowdays I'm getting too old and feeble to lifting.
Yes, there have been ones for sale in the past.
You ought to talk to CLINTO. He had one or two for sale recently and he goes over them with a fine tooth comb.
