    Over before I got started..

My first response would be to move but I understand that is sometimes easier said than done. My neighbor has his house up for sale right now. Fill the whole place up all the way to the front door with MVs if you like. See if I care. ;-)

    Lost my keys lol

My local dealer wouldn't do it without a title or registration in my name. I hadn't even picked the truck up yet from GL much less got a sf97 and had it converted over to title.

    Lost my keys lol

The only problem with geting a key from the key code is cost. My local locksmith (only place that will cut a key by code) charges $30 to cut a key from the code. He only charges $5 for copies.

    Over before I got started..

That's what I was thinking. Plant a garden. Have you looked at a M109? I'm saying it could be considered an RV.

    Deuce Use?

I think the main reason so many people have them is because they are so cheap. If a "run of the mill" M35A2 cost 10k I bet there wouldn't be near as many owners. Just about every male (and some females) has wanted a big truck ever since they were a kid. Most bigger vehicles are out of most...

Please Correct me if I am Wrong

The 250 and 400 have basically the same block so alot of the parts will interchange.

    Ever hit a Sub-Compact?

Others are right about the big truck not fairing so well either. My uncle was driving a Mack dumptruck when a woman pulled out in front of him in a small car. He ran over the car but it messed up his front axle in the process where he had no steering. He ended up going off the road, down a...

    Switches for accessories

The armor lights don't require a seperate switch. They have a switch on the light itself.

    m52..army vs. marine

All the trucks I've ever seen have lifting points on the front and between the axles. Are you talking about something different than the standard lifting shackles?

What do I need to buy a deuce?

:ditto: About all you need if you're buying one private sale is a pocket full of cash. ;-)

    Autometer pyro

I am the guy that bought the gauge ;). While the 12/24 converters have their place it's just too much for what I'm wanting to do. What I was trying to say was a 7812 regulator cost me $2 and will work fine with the gauge so I don't see spending $50 for something that will do the same thing...

    Autometer pyro

    But not for $2.00. ;-)

    Autometer pyro

Picked up a 7812 regulator from my local Radio Shack today. Looks like this is the way to go for less than 1amp loads. It's only about as big as a figernail and cost less than $2.00. Thanks Jeff. :-D

    Flushing Hydraulics

hi-revr, I don't doubt your credentials but I've never heard of anybody filtering hyd oil right out of the bucket. Maybe on some sort of high tech hyd system or aircraft but I've been around alot of hyd equipment and everybody just pours it right out of the bucket into the system. How big of...

    recent threads on main page

I figured it out. All I had to do is hit the little "+" symbol at the top right hand corner of the page and like magic the threads appeared .

    Hydraulic clutch pump?

The engine compartment is kind of tight anyway and you're going to have to fab a pump bracket with either one. I think it's a cleaner install because all the pump and hoses are located closer to the bed and under the truck out of sight. All this is just my personal opinion and I'm sure others...

    How can I add a 12 v Alternator?

The easiest way to run 12v lights off of 24v is to just run a 24v wire to two 12v lights wired in series. In other words connect the 24v wire to the positive wire on the first light. Take the ground wire comming out of the first light and connect it to the positive wire of the second light. Take...

    Winch broke

I see a M135 in your avatar. If that's the truck you're talking about I have no idea how they are set up. I do know if you run a M35A2 cable off the bottom of the drum you'll be working against the brake when winching.

NHC250 cylinder lining pitting and cavitation prevention

It's a filter that looks like an oil filter but it filters the coolant and also has additive in it that it releases slowly that treats the coolant. Do a search for "coolant filter" and I'm sure you'll get several hits.

NHC250 cylinder lining pitting and cavitation prevention

I've torn down several Cummins engines that the liners were ate up from this. It is a very common problem in Cummins with wet sleaves. Best way to prevent this is to add a water filter.
