Just to let you know, if you want something authentic, very few gun trucks were made out of deuces, mostly due to the fact that once the armor and guns were put on the back, the cargo capacity was pretty well used up. Many problems with worn-out driveline components due to the weight, so most...
I need a few parts to complete a deuce on this end, get it all functional. I have the air horn, the solenoid body, but I need the plunger inside the solenoid, the spring that goes to that, and the fittings needed to attach the solenoid to the air line and the air horn itself. Anyone have a...
RE: Finally - More M139 restoration pic
Pretty! Man, this is going to be the best looking M139 restoration I have ever seen. Actually, it will probably be the ONLY M139 restoration I have ever seen. Sorry, most bridge trucks get retired from the Army to a life of being beat to death on some...
Wow, great looking transformation so far! Might be a good idea also to add a few items like a genset, air compressor (big one), or a welder on that trailer as well. When you paint it in the Spring, PLEASE take some pics of the finished product....

That's a shame, Tom was one of the few guys at Coleman's I actually liked dealing with. His knowledge of everything mechanical there impressed me, and he actually cared about the stuff that was back in the weeds, when Shawn and everyone else was only caring about scrapping it all. He wasn't...
Nice looking project - complete and very restoration. I see there isn't much heavy rust either. First step, though, is to take that silly winter top off! :)
I'd go with the USMC Green as well, I believe it's 34052. Most M37s were in 24087, like all other MVs from the 1950s and 1960s, but...
