Armada - that is one of the cleanest looking engine compartments I have ever seen in a CUCV. Try messing up the wiring a bit or removing a component or two, in order to regain that "military issue" look that most CUCVs have. :)

Looks like a modified MERDC 4-color camo job. Several bases in the Southwest painted a bunch of deuces this way, even if it's not "official".

I'm a dummy. I don't weld. Is there anybody within a couple hours of me that might be willing to take a few hours out of their time to show me how to do sheet metal spot welding, and some basic structural welding (i.e. angle iron, bar stock, etc)? Would be willing to travel a couple hours...
