Gents all this has been covered before. NSN is national stock number. It only says it is what it is. If you bought an M35A2 the NSN is 2320-00-077-1616. If it has a winch the last four digits are 1617. NSN has nothing to do with the year.

Dang Milkman, if you wanted clear, those I had more handy and I had the IR lenses.
