It's copper tubing right there. A simple fix wouldl be to cut it at the leak and use a short piece of rubber fuel line to splice it back together. Less than 15 psi.

While the paint was drying, did you inspect and service your brakes and bearings? Or, it just a static display truck?

What do mean, "loaned it"? What year is the truck? Was it was ever registered in NY?

BAd headgasket causing it to rupture? Pressure test it?

You need to use new line, brass ferrules and brass inserts. The brass fitting and hex head portion are reusable.
