I've hauled M109s also, on my 32" high 10 ton tag along trailer. It just makes it with low tires.
So, anyone local with a dump truck & trailer should be able to haul it for you.
I've also had an M35A2 hauled on a heavy duty rollback.
Measure the positive wire(full length) for resistance(ohms).
It may have a bad connection or internal corrosion or damage.
Run a jumper wire providing 24v+, to the input of the switch, and see what happens. Then to the output side of the switch.
Contact Haldex and ask where it should be mounted(unless your a better air brake engineer than them).
I'd bet there is a reason they are always mounted low.
Yes, if the rest of the system is stock and in good condition.
I would confirm you have the correct relay and the previous owner simply added the push button to the blue wire at the relay, and it simply grounds the relay to activate it.
Your not understanding the 12 and 24 volt systems on your truck.
You simply disconnect one wire, and reconnect to the 12v terminal just inches away from the relay.
