Check your fuse box for voltage at the fuse. Check the switch for voltage. Check the switch for continuity when in reverse. The switch is on top of the steering column, under the dash, close to the firewall. Look at the schematic in the back of the -20 tm, for wire colors.

Do they come on ever(anywhere throughout the shifter movement)? If so, that would indicate switch adjustment is needed.
