Well, I called tech support(the number was in those instructions), and they said indeed, it must be gravity fed(it will not suck). I question that, but that was what they said. I wonder what is different with this pump than the others that do suck.

I don't think that is what is meant by gravity feed. I'd contact the manufacturer.

Yes, a look at their website shows $20/night for primitive camping. Minimum $20 per site per night for 3 people. $5 per extra person per night.

Many times they test good, but are not. It's cheap, change it.

Here's the adj procedure(step # 5) from the -20tm. It was in the Electrical section, not the Troubleshooting section. I simply put my shifter in N, and slid the switch through it's range as my wife called out when it was on. I then centered it in that range. Has worked fine since.
