    JW4x4's M932A1

Hats off to both Gimpy and JW for helping me get the gantry crane together. No Kenny it isn't air conditioned but after this week I wish it was. Afterwards Jerry let me drive the truck around the country block. Nice..... He found a bolt on the pass side right in front of the body isolation...

    JW4x4's M932A1

Yep, I'll be here all day. Gimpy is next door for a while. We put chains up on one of the driveways so you have to pull in the east side. Or drive through the yard. :-)

    Preping your deuce for paint

I do it the same way another member showed me and his trucks looked pretty good. Simple and easy and still looks better than a motor pool job. Pressure wash anything loose and clean the entire truck. Mask what you want. Prime it with Rustoleum. Rattle can it with Rapco. (Single color takes 20...

Official 2012 SS Ga Rally Info thread

Then what's the point? I made the mistake of driving the 818 of death last GA Rally and ended up changing tires on the front with JP. Ah, good times.

    JW4x4's M932A1

Bring it out to the farm. I want to drive it and see if I want one. :-)

    Snorkel install under $100

Did you MIG weld the elbow onto the straight piece of tubing? Although it is only one part of a fording kit I like the fact that the air inlet is right side up instead of sideways. While it might be small there is less chance of filling your air cleaner up with crud since it has to go up...

    Westys new M915A1

When are we picking it up for you? I can store it and maybe even inside if I arrange everything just right in the barn.

Why no more trucks at WPAFB??

Ok, so I go out to WPAFB today and all the trucks and trailers out there were being loaded onto OTR trucks for shipment out of there. My Brother and I watched two trucks loaded with a 900 series tractor and an M105 each and sent on their way. They were even leaving the 900 trucks running for...

    Battery replacement

I just went to NAPA and purchased their commercial batteries. If you ever go to a 12/24v system three of them will fit in the box.

    Too cool not to show.

Cougar? She looks like a teenager to me. ;-)

Yesterday started fine. Now slow start

One of my trucks will start up immediately whether it sits for ten minutes or ten months the other I have to push the pedal down and crank for as much as 15 seconds.

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

Gimp and I went on a two hour tour to pick up his "new" hydraulic crane for the bed of his Deuce and when we got back we stopped up the street and I bought two stationary gantry cranes. When we got to the house it took us over an hour to get the truck backed into its spot in the barn where I am...

    Deuce bed on M-818

Sevin7 did a Deuce bed on his 818. It might be in this year's Haspin pics.

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

No problem Dennis. Gimp and I are dreaming up something. I have two trucks and he suggested getting the brakes fixed on number two so I can get a truck back on the road and then pull the engine. Can you work on one sitting in a can or would a custom built stand be better?

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

Yes, you will Kenny. I have always wanted to rebuild and engine completely but I would not rob your parts to do it. Set off flares or smoke to amuse people yes, use your parts, no. :-)

    Too cool not to show.

It is a good looking trailer but I don't think he will get much out of it. Quality build though.

Rod Ventilated Block in Deuce -NOT- Crank Broke

Your cat avatar is kinda freaking me out. I'd like to listen to it and see how much it costs first and is it upright or on its side? ;-)
