    doghead relay failure

Nothing There is no correlation between price and internally grounded(or not) relays. Are you referring to a relay in use for the starter system or the GP system? The starter system does activate by switching the positive side of the relay coil, so technically you could replace it with a...

    doghead relay failure

Anyone know where this wire goes?

That is what the first 3 replies stated. That is definitely not definitive. Those comments leave room for doubt/question(even though they were factual and correct). I tried to answer and leave no doubt. Please don't hate me for that.

Help with smoking glow plug switch

One of the 2 small terminals on the relay has a light blue wire. That one just needs to be "touched to ground" to make a stock system function "manually". Obviously your system is not "stock". You'll need to either reconfigure it correctly, or make your own system(if you want to). You'll...

Help with smoking glow plug switch

I can't determine much from your pictures. If you using a manual push button, it needs to activate a relay. You do not want to switch that much amperage with a pushbutton. In stock configuration, all you need to do to manually operate the GP relay is, momentarily ground the light blue...
