Looks like a 3 phase plug. Do you have a 3 phase 208 volt generator? It is a standard plug, but probably not at Lowes.

You do not connect the wires after cutting the diode out. You simply remove it and tape up the exposed wires.

What pins? The hinges use bolts. The hinge only allows it to let the front of the box get closer to the ground. Read the TM.

The last M923(had 11R-20 tires) I loaded onto a step deck trailer, was too high to go up on the front deck. They said the trailer had larger rims&tires than another trailer they intended to use. The point is, give the correct measurments to the trucker, and all trailers are not the same.
