I'm pretty sure I've seen people bolt the 3053A to a Chevy bellhousing so, I would think it may work if it fits in the same space. Not going to be a direct bolt in, obviously.

These trucks were first built in the 1950's. It was common practice back then to use a hydraulic switch. That very same switch was used on many 50's vehicles.

Got the call today, my new starter motor bolt was in.( I actually ordered 2).
I put it all together today.
New starter bolts(had them), torqued to 33 ft/lbs.
Support bracket replaced and tightened.
Battery terminals all cleaned and tightened.
