Carry two....not just one and cribbing.
Consider - you have to start off low enough to get under a flat 16.00. And you have to end up high enough to fit an inflated 16.00. Most jacks wont have enough travel to do this.
And you can't add cribbing once the truck is on the jack.
A spray can of ether for $5 from the truck stop will tell you if you have fuel problems or something else. You can sit in the driver's seat with the door open and spray it over your left shoulder at the intake stack while cranking.
Regarding fuel cut off- pulling the cable kills it by...
Did it fire on ether?
Zip tie the solenoid in the run position or get rid of it entirely...
Edit - I missed the last hour's worth of posts when i first made this one. Strange.
Anyway, solenoid not required to be present. Causes no problems running without it and just using the kill cable.
To elaborate - get a wheel in the air spinning and hit the brakes and jerk it to a stop and snap it.
What's your take on a hmmwv's tolerance to increased power?
No more army HMMWVs is big news and deserves its own thread for discussion. I was unaware of it and I'll bet many others are as well.
Rereading my earlier reply it reads way more negative than intended. Sorry.
My understanding is that every state honors tags and drivers licenses from other states. If you're a SD resident then CA *should* honor your paperwork. I have driven mine from AZ to KS to GA to KS to MO and everywhere...
With almost a thousand lbs/ft of torque and 500hp you're going to break virtually everything in the drive line almost immediately.
Slantback and reasonable price don't go together.
You may have difficulty registering it in California.
1) No.
2) each purchase gets it's own EUC after the sale. Happy waiting....
3)M1079 is going to be more than M1078 due to height. The box puts it over height on a standard flatbed.
4) Maybe.
I have one that came from the military with the LWS mostly still installed. Let me know exactly what you wants pics of and I'll take pics for you in a day or two.
