Which is the better power plant?

Why not continue one of the threads you found searching, that way it would include more info and others will not need to find this thread to get the extra info?

    800 series wire #569

Your step/battery cover may have a drawing under it, showing the wire connections. As crash said, that is the GP supply and it gets 12V. If you dont' use the cold start with GP, you could leave it disconnected.

This was said today, and I liked it so much it is part of my sig line now. It truly applies to this topic and the OPs site nannie comment. I have been accused of many many descriptive things, when in fact I was only offering help. As long as the smiles overwhelm the frowns at the end of the...

    Search Tutorial?

While I do agree the newest site search is less efficient that the old one, You must realize that most topics have been covered and there by there will be many many threads on them. That does require more time to find what you need, but persistence usually pays off. If you want to help this...

    Alternator bolts

I was just looking and found M10 X 1 5 X 40 , of course, there are others. Not sure which ones you need. I googled the number & "bolt" to find that info.

    Search Tutorial?

First off, those are GM part numbers, specifically AC Delco part numbers. They work at a dealer. If your parts house can't cross reference, you may want to try another supplier. So, your interested to know what shocks others have used with your setup? I don't recall anyone ever posting that...

    Search Tutorial?

Well, when you search, it helps a lot to search in the applicable forums to narrow down your results. Of course, this is useless when members post in the wrong forums. ;-) Give me an example of what you might want to search for, and I'll tell you how I would search for it.

    M1009 Towing

I would bet those ratings take into consideration which trailers they are towing. Just look at the front A frame of an M416 or M101 trailer and you may agree.

Super Single Tire Pressure / Static Load Radius

The "problem" is your putting way too high a load rated tire on a 10000lb truck.

    M915 and electical drain

The M915 uses a 100 amp J-180 long hinge frame. Google J-180 mount, to find replacement options.

    MEP-002 Fuel Line Replacement/Upgrade

You used 45 degree flared fittings for your replacement parts. You replaced from pipe thread to pipe thread, so your repair will work fine. The Generator uses 37 degree fittings for all of the fuel lines, originally. This is standard.

    M813A1 no start issue

Actually, yes I did. I searched to know for sure that yesterday was President's Day. I meant the OP's fail #2 .
