Not if the brakes are caged.

How do you think they loaded it? If they rolled it on, they are most likely caged. Caging the brakes only releases the parking brake. The service brakes still function if supplied with air. You can actually drive a running truck with the brakes caged and still have service brakes.

Soft Top j-Channel. I cant find it!! Is it available??

You can sew a loop on then insert a 1/4" dia rope in it. Or, try a boat cover shop?

    deuce wheel stud

All your weight (lift your feet off the ground) at 2' of bar will be just about perfect for you. Or about to lift yourself at 3' will be on the mark. Seriously. Here's a good option, if you own a big impact and more than one truck...

I would not count on the parking brake to help much. Yes, you can air up the truck through a gladhand (front d/s, labeled emergency) and it should have service brakes (even while caged). Leave it connected to air or you only have 1 good stop, maybe 2.

    my 24v mess

Your relay is bad. It is not passing all the voltage due to dirty contacts. Replace it with the proper relay. GPR109 or st85 It is a good idea before you install a new one, to test it to be 100% sure it is proper for this system. Simply use your meter and test for continuity between the...

    deuce wheel stud

Perhaps I should elaborate. I have no issue with a 200lb guy using a 4' pipe and guessing he put almost 100lbs of force on it, to get to 350 ft/lbs. But to just use a long bar and put all you have on it and stop when you hear a noise, I think is piss poor advise. In the example above, do you...

    deuce wheel stud

Thank goodness for DOT regs and inspections. They use a torque wrench. I'm sure this has significantly reduced failures and road safety.

More engine problems (Documentation of testing fuel system, failure of Hyd Head)

This sounds like one of mine. I changed the HH and it solved my problem. This was after I used a couple gallons of WVO and that broke loose a fine black(soot like) in my fuel system. This caused filter plugging and fuel starvation. I went through 5 sets of filters( before giving up and doing...

    Alternator rebuild

Let me look at the -20TM. Off the top of my head, I dont recall for sure. Could it be the "insulator" shown in that picture, at the top right?

    Alternator rebuild

The 2 tab thing is a resistor. It is not used in all alternators.
