They need to define "business day" as a day they're there.
In the past they've had a guy there for one 4 hour block of time one day per week, yet they count the days they aren't there as "business days" for purposes of late fees.
I picked up on day 9 (my count) in LA, paid $40 in late fees.
I stayed in a motel last night instead of driving home. I just got home a little while ago.
I could have driven last night, but it would have been a chore. Driving today in contrast was enjoyable.
Pic of the boot I got at the event. Couple of pics from today's drive. I tried to wing it...
I strongly suspect that you are right.
I have limited experience with the hmmwv, but on the 1101/1102 I usually fill them to 50psi and call it good. I've never had a problem.
This thread caused me to go check the date codes on the ones on my hmmwv. I'd rather not say....
This is Badness in its worst form....
Glow plug diesel + ether = boom. I wouldn't do it.
Excessive ether = ring damage = rebuild = expensive.
I've never viewed a 12v conversion as an improvement. I'd start by returning it to stock and then troubleshooting via the TM or knowledgeable people...
I really like the issue geared lug wrench. I like it better than a 1" air impact. Maddawg was selling them cheap a while back. Grab one if you get the chance...
I've used a bunch of different tools on lug nuts, and this is my #1 choice.
I'll second steve's comment on multiple jack stands...
I'd plan that as a 6 day trip...
Let me know your timeline and route. I'm going Omaha NE to Flagstaff AZ at the end of the month. If it lines up I can provide a chase vehicle for part of the drive.
So far so good!
This is the first real trip since I got my M925 onto 16's. I've taken a few little 40 mile trips to shake things loose and adjust the new seat and retorque lugnuts, but this is really first extended drive.
Driving about 200 miles each way. KS and NE back roads, speeds 50-60...
Tire count for me - 6 on the truck, 2 on the trailer, 1 spare I the bed of the truck. (What they lack in numbers, they make up for in size and weight....)
Two main locations. Yes, this pretty much kills it if you're a little guy.
And they're auctioning things one item at a time to get full retail for it. Example - auction. For a single cargo bow -
I've been driving it topless! I like it....
But weather forcast says thunderstorms in Atlantic IA on Saturday . I guess I better at least bring a soft top with me just in case.
154 cans in the back.... three pallets, one is a layer short..
