Not all plugs are square drive. Some are 9/16" hex. The least expensive item to use is, a 3/8" all-thread rod coupling. Then use a wrench on it. The bulb has 2 elements for durability. A less durable replacement bulb can have only one element. Saturn Surplus has them.

I have never seen a CB on any electric plow motor supply. As for the controller power, it does not need to be "keyed" power. You could add a relay as Keith suggested, to switch 24v with a 12v ignition switched input(available at the fuse block or under the hood).

If neither of the small terminals has continuity to the shiny metal mounting tabs, you should be OK.
