    Strange Fuel tank issue

I have it saved on my computer(like all owners should!). If it's not available on SS, it may be on Jatonka's website. I'm sure it's also available on the government websites as well as other places. Do I need to find the answer to every question(that should not even need to be asked) if...

Never saw this info before regarding 28MT starters

The starter solenoid circuit should never see that much load continuously. I think the stock wiring is adequate for the system, with the improved (DH)relay. Also, I would suggest we don't confuse that bulletin with it directly addressing the under-dash relay used in the CUCV trucks. We're...

Never saw this info before regarding 28MT starters

The picture(drawing) in the Bulletin does not look to be sized to be rated for 200 amps.

    marker lights dont work

Best place to start is with the basic operators manual, TM9-2320-361-10 It will explain the light switch functions(front parking lamps do not stay on when the headlights are on), and many other things you need to know. Only one fuse on a Deuce.

Never saw this info before regarding 28MT starters

Yeah, it's kinda the same other than the fact that the CUCV under-dash relay was used only to use the(standard civilian) 12volt starting circuit to trigger the 24 volt start solenoid. The fact that we have seen repeated failures with OEM cucv under-dash relays, and the DH relay mod in essence...

I guess I should read it then! I didn't have time earlier when I posted.

Never saw this info before regarding 28MT starters

It's referring to the starter relay/solenoid. The doghead relay modification is referring to the under-dash starter relay that is used to switch the power to trigger the starter solenoid. Two different things...

Please try to use a thread title that describes your thread. You need a new transmission (at least) and some Technical Manuals(they may have helped you avoid this whole issue).

    Royal Enfield 500 Classic

We were looking over a few issues it has already. Wires pulled too tight, leaking oil and leaking gasoline lines, fit and finish issues too.

    Winch newbie.

Operation of the winch should be covered in the -10TM for your truck. Read it, it should answer both of your questions(and possibly save you hundreds of dollars and possibly a life).

Wouldn't surprise me if he has parts stashed in the kitchen cupboards.

    ATF red dye?

It's called PMCS Also, with any "new to you" truck, you should not assume anything is "Fine", unless you checked or changed. Maintenance,is not changing your filters on the side of the road. What the government did with your truck does not excuse anyone of their responsibilities.
