I bought them at the GM dealer. They don't sell them in pairs. I think I had to buy 5.
You got lucky! I broke multiple drill bits on mine. It took forever and was one f the more frustrating things I've ever done.
It's not that heavy.
Silverstate55 and I loaded one from his trailer to mine, *by hand*.
My tractor is rated 1250lbs. It lifts an end, almost and sort of.
I'm guessing maybe 3000lbs if that.
"Bed cover" looks suspiciously like an S250 shelter.
Edit - the shelter carrier variant has suspension differences. I'm not sure about mounting to an M998, but someone more knowledgeable than me will be along shortly and enlighten us both...
While standing on the step facing into the cab with the battery box open, the lower left battery is the place to start.
Test all 4 of your batteries. If you've got 1 or 2 bad ones, drop down to a 2 battery system....

Priority one is to prevent further damage and deterioration secondary to salt water submersion.
This is what I'd do -
1) change all fluids
2) this especially means the differentials
3) service the hubs
4) grease everything greasable
5) spray WD40 pretty much everywhere.
Ideally you...
