Let's talk about the under-dash starter relay. (not the GP relay!) Sorry, I did not address the wires in my first reply. I was still drinking my morning coffee and a bit sleepy still.(as noted by my edit!) Simple wiring... Big wires on the big studs. Little wires, on the little studs...

That truck is most likely a 1970. The inspector info has 47 stamped at the end. Most likely, the GL rep mistakenly assumed that was the year.

That is very very bad advise. We've seen what a grade 8 bolt will do on the front winch(and PTO and transmission).
