Sound is not the way to diagnose a relay, use a meter! ST-85 relay, best choice. Relays are under the dash, to the right of the radio panel. Let's work on Tech Manuals and Searching, next. (glad to see you were able to figure out how to post a new thread!)

Why would you convert to 12v, but add a 3rd battery? If you understand electricity enough to properly engineer/design your 12V, 3 battery conversion, then surely you can read the schematics and see what the relay does and make your own decision( or if you even need it).

How are you measuring this? I would measure the same place(either side) on the outside of the framerail, to the rim or tire sidewall.

I do not think it's intentional. Just wait for Patracy to look into it.

WAG, he wants to install a 5th wheel plate, to tow a trailer, and use the crane to load it. He wants the measurements to shorten the frame rails behind the rear axle, to add the 5th wheel and ramps. Just a guess.

It's not charging if there was no increase in battery voltage, when running.

I witnessed a GL purchase, base drive off today. No bus full of nuns were adversely effected. No death or dismemberment. Almost no drama at all, other than the new GL loader tore a hydraulic line off, when the wrecker hook caught on it. All legit.

Is that were you got your tats? How long did they hold you?
