I'm in Tucson and willing to towbar it with you for the actual fuel cost there and back, Assuming you can't find a better local option (I'm fairly certain that you can).
One thing about filtration is that the finer filters clog much more easily. This is particularly evident in cold weather when you start to get microcrystalline gelling.
When Ram went to finer filters on their cummins powered trucks you'd see them disabled from gelled fuel sooner than the older...
Put it there deflated, then inflate prior to use? Carry just a spare tire with no rim and go to all the trouble to mount it if you have to?
My understanding is the a1 and a2 are different and that the a0 won't accommodate the wider tire in the stock position.
If you're going the towbar route, save yourself trouble in the long run and get a military towbar because it's a certainty you'll want one at some point.
With a military towbar you now have 2 obstacles. The first is getting the towbar connected to your jeep. My suggestion is to use a 1"...

Too bad the timing wasn't better. I was living in tulsa last fall and we could have just flat...
This strikes me as a very bad idea. The 5ton is heavier than the deuce. Pulling It is one thing and stopping it without using the brakes on it is another thing entirely. Stopping it suddenly without warning with even a little bit of turn involved will push a deuce around and sideways in a hurry...
My understanding is that the laws vary state to state on that, and I suspect somewhere on my route it'd be prohibited.
You may very well know more than I do though. Feel free to enlighten me. Thanks
I can towbar the CUCV for $1.05 per mile. That setup doesn't leave a way to transport the trailer.
I can load the CUCV in the bed of my m925 and tow the trailer. Looks like about $1.75 per mile.
Coordinating with your seller is no problem.
I'm off between contracts right now so this would...
