Are you saying you donated 67 cents, based on the numbers Chris posted, and hoped it would reach his goal of $20000? 30000 x $.67 = $20100

    alternator confusion

Have you rebuilt your alternators? It sounds like they may be the source of your battery drain. They can charge and still be bad. Spend $100 and rebuild them both. CUCVelectric has kits.

How do you know if the site didn't get more than that before, with donations to the site? I will guarantee you, the number of members registered may exceed 30000, but if anyone thinks there is even half that many active users, your wrong. I bet there is at least 5000 unused or spam bot...

The numbers you people are posting are way off. Give it a rest. If you have real info, post it, if not, why guess. Nobody has to pay. It's amazing how people feel, as soon as money is mentioned.

Just a guess, but I would guess only about 10-20% of the active members will want or need to become paid members. How many active(monthly) users do we have? divide that by 3 and that's more realistic, then give the Government 28% of that. What to do with all that money? Who knows, yet. It...

I'm working on that idea with Patracy. In just a bit, the title will be changed to "paid member' in the same text size and color as your "rank". This is to lessen the visual impact and hopefully not detract from your rank(post based). I have also asked him to see if a user or admin "delete"...

You can and should still consider post count , site contribution and personal contacts, when dealing with people on the Internet. Maybe the term "premium", will simply become, smaller and say "Paid member" There is really no need for any title, if you see an ad, you know a member paid...

If $15 is all it takes to get rid of Westy, I would have paid $20 a long time ago...

Like, Paid member? I like "Gold Member" hehehe I also agree with the thought that performance/participation does count for something(that is how we based the access to the classifieds up until now). We have a few members that contribute daily, no matter how repeat or simple the issues are. I...

    Brake line problem - HELP!

Back to the TM, it is very important that you bleed the system in a certain procedure. The Tm does that, it tells you the procedure. Since you didn't know where your airpack is, it seems logical to say you have not bleed your system in the correct procedure(it's the first thing you bleed).

    Brake line problem - HELP!

Honestly, the TM instructions are so simple and thorough, I guarantee you cannot and will not get as good of information here in a forum, as you can get by reading the simple step by step instructions. And no, I am not trying to promote the MV hobby in this thread. I am trying to promote...

    Brake line problem - HELP!

You could just read the TM to him. If you can't identify your airpack, you should not be driving your truck. It needs regular service, as well as many many things mentioned in the TMs. I recommend you educate yourself and your friend or find an educated/skilled mechanic. Brakes are not...

    Brake line problem - HELP!

Brake bleeding is covered in Tm 9-2320-362-20. It is written in such a simple manor, anyone with hands and can read, can follow the instructions.

    Voltmeter Trouble

Simply looking at the -34P TM, I found the relay part number(12033862). Then a google search will find it and several other compatible replacement relays.

    Service and Emergency

And if you did not know what they are for and they were left open(and the military valves are opposite of standard valves), you may find yourself without sufficient brakes to stop. That's why I stressed the importance of simply reading the operators manual.

glow plug removal and voltage question m1009

No need to guess, use an ohm meter and test each one. They should read 1-3 ohms each. The -20 TM has a step by step testing procedure for the complete glow plug system. If you can read, you can follow it. You question on voltage is a bit more complex to answer. You should measure 12v if all...
