to tell the truth this sounds like the main power selenoid, mine sticks every now and then, if no gages ,ect come up when the main on/off switch is fliped, i flip the switch a few times and it is ok,, not sure if its all in the pcb or seperate

in Crismom's US military wheeled vehicles (page 398, top, left) it states 25000,thats compleat with k boom and bed, so without the bed and crane, i beleave 16000 would be close

i found a m37 in houma la., its at consolidated truck salvage, 985-879-3554, this truck is a rust bucket but is compleat, was told that it ran well when it came in (ive heard that before), its located at 4864 highway 182, the owner said he wants 600 :lol: i bet he would take a lot less ,cash talks
i just replaced that seal, the seal i used that crosses with the mil. numbers is a SKF seal number 58741 , the speedy -sleave if you need it (if the seal serface is to badly corrorded) is chirago rawhide -- cr 99587
the hard part will be getting the winch on the ground, mine was already on...
if one is bad, check all the rest, if a top one breaks, the axle will roll, takeout the driveshaft and brakes, when i went to replace mine on the 819, the front axle rolled 4" just turning the truck around, not enough to do damage, but if it would have happened on the road doing 60, it would not...
if this all works out, we are going to have about 8 or 9 vehicles just in the south, south convoy, that alone will be a nice looking military movement, we all need a SS unit designator, that will really make us a single unit movement instead just a bunch of military trucks
