    radiator repair

Personally, I like to use a large soldering iron(not a torch). If you must use a propane torch, I would get/use a soldering iron type tip, so you are NOT using the flame. You need acid core and flux, found in the plumbing dept. Gently clean the surrounding area and tin the edge of the...

Glow Plug Relay Rewiring help needed

I did not notice anywhere in this thread, it mention the relay needs to have an isolated ground on the coil. The pictures of his relay, have me slightly concerned that, that may not be the correct relay. I suggest you test it before you use a GP controller card(or you could damage it).

Glow Plug Relay Rewiring help needed

The 12V terminal(stud) and the wiring and fusible link feeding it, is adequate for the task(supplying the GP relay with 12v). Many of us have done this, with no problems(long term). btw, your thoughts on load on the bats is incorrect. But we don't need to go there.

    Deuce Starter Question

There is a relay(on the engine block) and a solenoid on the starter, that could cause your issue. You need to use a meter and test for voltage along the starting circuit, to find the problem.

As long as the slave cable stays connected, the alternator will be ok. As for the cranking issue, sounds like a bad connection or cable.

    GL and Unmanned sites

I called today to try to schedule a pickup at a GL location. The number is not in service! I contacted GL at Arizona and they said they would get back to me when they have a phone number that works. I will say, the 2 calls to GL today were both handled very very politely and friendly. I...
