The above statement has been made a thousand times, if it has been said once(by many members).
In all seriousness, Just ask for help with the TMs, if thats what you need...
I'd get those Tech Manuals downloaded, and do some casual reading.
You mean to tell me there are about 5 books that document every part and every operation and every repair of a militarty truck? And I can download them for free? Interesting.
The picture in post #1, is a relay. A relay is an electromagnetic switch.
The thing on the starter is a solenoid. By definition is a solenoid, used to make mechanical movement(engages the starter Bendix).
No, it does not! I removed 1, from your post count.
Post a bunch of BS and you'll loose more.
The free classifieds are for contributing members only.
If you have nothing but BS to contribute to our site, go somewhere else.:deadhorse:
On the top of the control panel, there should be a schematic.
My mep002 has 3 small white wire.... one is smaller than the other 2. the smallest one on mine goes to the solenoid small stud. The other 2 go to the pos and neg battery wires on the starter.
You may need to chase the wires...
MBA, SS man of the week!fat lady sings
Your the man, Greg.
BTW, WM is second runner up, for prolifically shorting out his truck and finding his problem.(who'dathunkit)
It amazes me when people ask about ether and the advise given, is to use something else(for false reasons and usually with no experience) rather than how to use ether properly and when to use it.
That's only correct if, you resupplied the resistor bank with 12v.
If you eliminate the resistor bank and resupply the GP relay with 12v, all GPs will get 12v(even after one or more fails). This is a fairly common modification I recommend.
Has anyone even had a fuel leak on the HH like this? I have been searching threads...
Has anyone cut a HH in half? or done a complete HH dissection? If anyone recalls a thread on this or has a link, please post up.
