    Steering box input seal leak

    Power steering fluid (basically hydraulic oil) is different from ATF. Not same foaming and additives. As far as i know GM always used power steering fluid, not ATF. You can feel difference rubbing both between fingers. One is silky, smooth, ATF is "grainy" (if my english is correct).

    Made trip thru forest, that neighbour little elves and my short-legged wienerdog can take walks. We have some 25 cm of snow. And quick trip to local shop for few porters :) (MTs are bad on icy tarmac). Merry Christmas!

    heh, on my 1008 i first checked this on glove box. Just after week or two realised that army replaced for some reason glove box door. Real VIN was different, probably options (hehe, options) too...
