Just remember that you need a clockwise rotation for a V-belt system (as viewed from the front of the engine). Serpentine belt systems use counter-clockwise pumps.

Peninsular Diesel went bankrupt last year. If I were you I would get one of those OEM units from Eastern Surplus. Or if you want/need more flow, spend a few extra bucks and get a FlowKooler. That’s what I installed on my P400. Just my 2 cents.

Ummm... you lost me right after “Hello Fellow Steel soldiers....”.

I’m ready to hear that thang running.

I used RTV to hold the O-ring in place while the outer rim was torqued down. RTV seemed to work better than Super Glue, which the previous owner had used and made a mess and had to be chipped out with a sharp screwdriver. Let us know how that McMaster O-ring fits.

Has anybody come up with a way to insulate the open void space in our trucks cab roofs? It seems we spend a lot of time, money and effort insulating the floor and firewall but never do anything with the cab roof. Thanks in advance for your replies.
