Fair enough, but coming from M939s that would blow LED trucklites from poor grounds I had learned a trick or two.

I can tell you now, some people will vigorously defend the in-line pump, and some will even say “My in-tank pump has been dead for years and my truck runs just fine!”
The reality of the situation is a deuce can run for a long time without a lift pump, months, years, who knows just how long...
Perfectly normal, I can’t remember the identification “Code” of the pump but eventually they started doing away with the FDC altogether

I always ran 2 group 31s in my 8.3 truck with a solargizer on the cowl. Sucker would crank super easy even down to 7°f sitting for days. Now a wheezing 250 would be a different story
